The vision of the scheme is to empower school science teachers with up-to-date knowledge and practical skills, fostering a generation of students with a strong foundation in Science through effective and engaging teaching.

Objective

The primary objective of this scheme is to:

  • To provide professional training to in-service school science teachers of  Grades 6 to 8, ensuring they are well-equipped with the latest knowledge on the syllabus and advancements in Science and Technology.
  • To improve teaching quality by focusing on both theoretical understanding and hands-on practical skills, enabling teachers to deliver lessons effectively.
  • To ensure consistent and updated Science education by conducting this five-day training program annually across ten districts, fostering standardized and engaging Science teaching methods.
